Position Overview:

We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and reliable Part-Time Retail Sales Associate (with full-time potential) to join our team. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and passionate about fine jewelry. In this role, you will assist customers in finding the perfect pieces, provide product knowledge, and support daily store operations while helping us deliver an exceptional shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service

  • Greet and assist customers with a warm and professional approach
  • Provide knowledgeable recommendations on jewelry pieces, styles, and care
  • Build lasting customer relationships through excellent service and follow-up

Sales & Merchandising

  • Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor and displays
  • Assist with inventory management, restocking, and merchandising
  • Support the team in achieving sales goals

Community + Marketing

  • Create engaging social media content to showcase products and store events
  • Assist in planning and executing in-store events, promotions, and community outreach

Qualifications:

  • Prior retail or sales experience preferred (jewelry experience a plus, but not required)
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
  • Ability to learn and share product knowledge
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed)
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks

Schedule:

  • Part-time (approximately 20-30 hours per week)
  • Standard Store Hours: Tuesday-Friday 9:30am - 6:00pm, Saturday 9:30am - 3:30pm
  • Seasonal Hours: Extended evening and weekend availability may be required during the holiday season
  • Special Event Hours: Additional shifts may be scheduled for trunk shows, community events, bridal fairs, and in-store promotions
