The Ichthus design, used by early Christians to identify each other, has remained a symbol of faith for over 2,000 years. It’s stylized representation of a fish symbolizes the miracle of multiplication of the loaves and fishes, and was used to mark meeting places during the years of persecution in the Roman Empire. This Serinium® ring with satin finish and polished recessed edges is laser engraved with the Ichthus and Christian cross in a repeating pattern around the band.
Serinium® is the most beautiful of all contemporary metals, with the brilliant white color of white gold. Forged at extreme temperatures and pressures, this high-tech material is ultra-hard and hypoallergenic, and will never tarnish, oxidize, or change color. Serinium is also the safest of the contemporary jewelry metals and can be quickly and safely removed in an emergency with commonly available tools, such as a standard ring cracker or even a pair of vice-grip pliers.
